You apply a frequency separation on both. You take the low frequency from Photoshop Resize and apply the high frequency from Luminar Neo Upscale AI.

Thanks, great video. It didn't work quite as well as i hoped, probably because the original captures had other colors than simply black and white. But it was close enough to create the overlays for comparison. The place it came out strange was in lettering.
Yeah- it works best when it is a pure black and white. Greys get iffy for sure.

Comparing Upscale AI to simply resizing is a little like comparing apples and oranges. Some of the extensions for Luminar Neo have been fantastic, unfortunately Upscale AI isn't one of them if anything I feel like I've been robbed it's so poor even compared to free alternatives never mind some of the premium alternatives.
Sorry to hear it isnt working out for you.
You will see a bigger difference with full body portraits since you need to be farther from the subject for that. This is where the ultra shallow depth of field will really shine. Up close you can shoot with whatever.

I'm trying to convert a 108MP JPG to RAW but I'm losing the resolution but the file does get bigger. For example, a 108MP photo with resolution of 11614 x 8709 with the size of 27.5MB. When I made the conversation, I ended up with 256 x 191 with the size of 579MB. How and why?

Hi, How I reset the Masking layer rotation? I put the signature logo on masking and when I re compose the photo by rotating and croping the signature also goes rotate and then I am unable to reset only the signature. is there any way I can reset the Mask texture layer?

Good tutorial on how remove backgrounds in Luminar Neo. I haven’t tried this yet, I don’t take many portraits, but I’m looking forward to taking module out for a test drive soon. I have played with new Panorama module, and so far I’m very happy with it. Thanks for sharing Larry.

This doesn’t work because my images is showing a ‘white triangle’ in the corner and upload icon is greyed out.

Good thinking! Fiverr is the way to go on something like that. By the time you spend hours learning how to do it yourself, its cheaper to hire someone. :) How is that PS7 working out? I sure would love to not be paying a monthly fee...
